Children who are eligible for special education services may require related services to benefit from their special education plan. These related services cover a variety of supports, including counseling services. This session will review requirements for special education related service eligibility, how eligibility is determined, the roles of school personnel who may provide the service, and consideration of training and experience to provide counseling services.
